Chive & Onion Mashed Potatoes Recipe

What You Need

lb. baking potatoes (about 6), peeled, quartered

1/2

cup milk

1

tub (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Chive & Onion Cream Cheese Spread

1/4

cup KRAFT Classic Ranch Dressing

Make It

COOK potatoes in boiling water in large saucepan 20 to 25 min. or until tender; drain.

MASH potatoes, gradually stirring in milk, cream cheese spread and dressing until light and fluffy.

Make Ahead

Prepare recipe as directed; spoon into 1-1/2-qt. casserole. Refrigerate up to 24 hours. When ready to serve, bake, uncovered, at 350°F for 1 hour or until heated through.

Substitute

Prepare using KRAFT Three Cheese Ranch Dressing.

I have made this recipe several times. It's always a crowd pleaser as a side item. I use unpeeled red potatoes and it's terrific.

Perfect mashed potatoes. I wasn't so sure about adding the ranch dressing, but it gave it the perfect zip. I would definitely make this recipe again!

Three out of 4 members of our family liked this. The pickest and hardest to please member, however was not so fond of it. I will make it again, though, since the majority liked it.

I made this last night and my husband and I really enjoyed it. Very easy to make, and the cream cheese gave it a great flavor! We used a reduced fat ranch dressing and it was great. I may try the reduced fat cream cheese next time as well. Yummy!

I doubled this recipe for a church "Soup Kitchen" dinner that a friend & I cooked for and everyone loved it, most came back for seconds and one man had three helpings!I know I will make this many times.

Very nice way to spruce up a standard dish. I made it the night before Thanksgiving dinner so it saved me prep time on the big day.
