If omitting nuts, increase flour to 3/4 cup to prevent the cookies from spreading excessively during baking.

I had to add more flour because the batter was far too thin to form any sort of ball. Even with the extra flour, the cookies still flattened out and burned. I managed to save some, but with the ingredients being as costly as they are, it was a shame to have to throw more than half the batch away.
I love this recipe because it's easy to put together and i make it every year for Christmas and it's one of the best.
