Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very easy to make and tasted great! Very easy to make and tasted great! I cut them thin and long, similar to a "twix" bar, and brought them to a neighborhood gathering. Everyone loved them, a month later and people still ask for the recipe. This was my 1st time using the caramel bits, and they were great. No little wrappers to peel off :) I'll get these for all my recipes that call for caramel. I plan to make them again, but I'd like to make my own shortbread cookie dough and press in my pan to use as the crust. Rather than cutting the suggested cookies to fit my pan.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent recipe I made this for a cookout. People did like them but I can't say I'd make it again. I used the caramel chips but they were very difficult to spread over the cookies and I felt like one bag was not enough. I ended up wetting my spatula in hot water and that helped a little. I also had to do the same with the chocolate so this took far longer than 15 minutes prep time

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It doesn't get any easier than this! It doesn't get any easier than this! So glad I found this recipe. I had 3 oz. of the white chocolate from a previous recipe but the newer boxes of Bakers chocolate contain 4 oz. so I just added the extra ounce. Glad I did- can't have too much chocolate. These cookie bars turned out perfectly and my taste testers rank them as a new favorite.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This was so easy & they taste like a Twix bar. This was so easy & they taste like a Twix bar. If you have any doubts just make them & you will be hooked. The only thing I did differnt was use parchment paper instead of foil & couldn't find caramel bits in my local stores so I used the regular Kraft caramels & weighted out 11 oz.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Relatively easy to make. Relatively easy to make. Add 5 minutes to prep time if you are using Kraft caramels that are individually wrapped. I noticed that video put cookies flat side up. I would imagine this was to hide the name of the brand. I put the cookies flat side down. Seemed to make more sense.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These were FANTASTIC! These were FANTASTIC!! My husband wants more this weekend. Marlene, Lorna Doones have been around forever and have been one of my favorite cookies since I was a little girl. You should be able to find them in any grocery store in the cookie aisle. They're a Nabisco staple.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Decadent and delicious! Decadent and delicious! These taste like a super fresh Twix candy bar with ooey-gooey caramel. My only concern was that the chocolate didn't solidify well which may make them difficult to store/transport. As it turns out, there were none to store at my house!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from These are delicious, but I can't figure out why the chocolate gets tiny white-ish colored circles... These are delicious, but I can't figure out why the chocolate gets tiny white-ish colored circles on them after stored in foil or Christmas cans. They don't look very appetizing then but still taste good. Does anyone else have that problem?
