What You Need

OREO Cookies, finely crushed (about 1-1/2 cups)

Tbsp. butter, melted

oz. (1/2 of 8-oz. pkg.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened

Tbsp. caramel ice cream topping

cup thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping

pkg. (3.9 oz.) JELL-O Chocolate Instant Pudding

cups cold milk

Make It

COMBINE cookie crumbs and butter; press onto bottom and up side of 9-inch pie plate sprayed with cooking spray. Refrigerate until ready to use.

MIX cream cheese and caramel topping in medium bowl until well blended. Gently stir in COOL WHIP; spread onto bottom of crust.

BEAT pudding mix and milk with whisk 2 min.; pour over cream cheese layer. Refrigerate 3 hours.

The best way to thaw frozen COOL WHIP Whipped Topping is in its container in the refrigerator. Depending on the size tub you have, the thawing time varies. Recommended thawing times are: 8-oz. tub - 4 hours; 12-oz. tub - 5 hours; 16-oz. tub - 6 hours. We DO NOT recommend thawing COOL WHIP Whipped Topping in the microwave.

This was just OK. If I made it again I would definetly add more of the cream cheese mixture. It was a little to chocolate and not enough carmel for my taste.

I made this for a get together with my in-laws. It went over very well! I served it with the extra carmel sauce & Cool Whip to place on top of the pie.

This was such an easy recipe and delicious! It only lasted in my house 2 days! I plan on having guests this weekend and will have it as a dessert.

Wow what a wonderful rich choclate carmel dessert! It gets rave reviews form everyone that tries it. Definitely a favorite. My wife is begging me to make it again.....and I will becuse I love it too!!

MMMMMMM!!! I made this recipe and it was all gone in less than 24hrs! I made a second one the next day and after it was cut it was gone in less than 24 hrs too. This pie is very delicious!

I tried this recipe for my girl's group yesterday. Like another reviewer, I purchased a pre-made Oreo cookie pie shell to cut down on time. I also made my own whipped topping with real cream and added a drizzle of the caramel topping over the pudding. I chose the Deviled Food flavor of pudding. This pie was wonderful. It looked as if it would be heavy, but it's just rich and light. Not too sweet, just right. Everyone loved it and I'll definitely be making it again. Perfect balance of all flavors. Some chocolate pie recipes are SO over-rich and heavy. Not so with this one. Even after a huge dinner, with everyone still full, this was a perfect light ending with wonderful chocolate flavor. Good job!

Was very good.Used the store bought Oreo crust...simple and easy ! will make again!
