Rated 4 out of 5 by from This was good and really easy to make. This was good and really easy to make. I cooked the chocolate mixture longer than it said and it took the grainyness right out. When you pull this out of the oven it breaks off into great chunks and is easy to package up or put into a large bowl. I also used salted buttered micro popcorn. I like that sweet/salty taste.

I've had problems in the past with other recipes of making caramel, (I always burned it while I was making it) but this recipe was very easy to handle and it didn't burn!! I would definitely make this again!

Makes a great plain caramel popcorn with a little crunch. I also stirred in some mixed nuts and cinnamon for some added variety.
