  • Beat butter and sugar in large bowl with mixer until blended. Add eggs and sour cream; mix well. Add bananas and combined dry ingredients; mix just until moistened. Stir in chocolate morsels.
  • Pour into greased and floured 8x4-inch loaf pan.
  • Bake 1 hour or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 5 min.; remove from pan to wire rack. Cool completely before slicing. Refrigerate leftovers.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great receipe, I've made several times. Great receipe, I've made several times. However, when I used the entire amount of sour cream, baking time was about 1 hour and 15 min. When I decreased the sour cream by about 2 tbls, the baking time dropped to just over an hour. Also, recipe calls for a LOT of chocolate chips. My family prefers more of a banana taste and not so many choc chips.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I thnk this was way too much batter. I thnk this was way too much batter. I should have probably split this between two pans.. The cooking time ended up being like an hour & 15 minutes and part of the bread wasn't cooked. I think I would stick with the muffins next time. Those came out great when I made them!
