Chocolate Chunk Banana Bread Sweetened with SPLENDA®

This was great. I like lower calorie alternatives to my favorite high-cal foods. Moist and flavorful.

What You Need

cups  flour
1
cup  SPLENDA® No Calorie Sweetener, Granulated

tsp.  CALUMET Baking Powder
1/2
tsp.  baking soda
1/4
tsp.  salt
2
 eggs
1/3
cup  oil
1/4
cup  milk
1
cup  mashed ripe bananas
1-1/2
pkg.  (4 oz. each) BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate (6 oz.), coarsely chopped
1/2
cup  chopped PLANTERS Walnuts

Make It

PREHEAT oven to 350°F. Combine flour, SPLENDA Granulated Sweetener, baking powder, baking soda and salt; set aside. Beat eggs, oil and milk in large bowl with wire whisk until well blended. Stir in bananasl. Add dry ingredients; stir just until moistened. Stir in chopped chocolate and walnuts.

POUR into greased 9x5-inch loaf pan.

BAKE 45 min. or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 min. Remove from pan; cool completely on wire rack. Cut into 18 slices to serve.

Substitute 1 cup BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chunks for the chopped BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Baking Chocolate.
Note
For easier slicing, wrap bread and store overnight before cutting into slices to serve.
