  • BREAD MIX: Place Bread Mix ingredients in 1-gal. resealable plastic food storage bag; seal bag. Place bag in disposable 9x5-inch foil loaf pan. Place in decorative gift bag. Store at room temperature until ready to prepare bread or give as a gift.
  • TO BAKE BREAD: Heat oven to 350°F. Mix eggs, bananas, oil and milk in large bowl until well blended. Add Bread Mix; stir just until moistened. Spray foil loaf pan with cooking spray; fill with batter.
  • Bake 55 min. or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Store tightly wrapped at room temperature.

For Gift-Giving

Be sure to include a tag with the Bread Mix listing both the additional ingredients needed, and the mixing and baking directions.

Special Extra

Pack the wrapped bread mix with some colorful tea towels for a great hostess gift.

Substitute

Substitute 6 chopped BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate for the 1 cup chocolate chunks.

    Fabulously moist and delicious!!! I usually don't like banana bread...but this one i did. I did leave out the nuts though. Great with coffee.

    Very good bread but I used dark chocolate instead of semi-sweet and probably only used 1/2 cup of chocolate so mine was not quite as sweet as I'd like. Next time, I'd add more chocolate or perhaps add a bit of brown sugar to sweeten it up a bit. Really good, though!
