  • Heat oven to 350°F.
  • Mix cookie crumbs and margarine; press onto bottom and up side of 9-inch pie plate. Bake 10 min.; cool.
  • Microwave caramels and half-and-half in medium microwaveable bowl on HIGH 3 min. or until caramels are completely melted, stirring after 1-1/2 min. Stir in nuts; spread onto bottom of crust. Refrigerate 10 min. or until set. Chop 2 oz. chocolate; sprinkle over caramel layer in crust.
  • Microwave remaining chocolate in separate microwaveable bowl 30 sec.; stir until completely melted. Drizzle over pie. Refrigerate 1 hour or until chocolate is firm.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I think it needs more oreo crust. I think it needs more oreo crust. It didn't cover my pie plate. Oreo already made crust would probably work just as well & save time. After this dessert sat in the fridge for a day the crust got hard. I'm disappointed. It looks better than it tastes.

I used a store bought Oreo crust, and as the pie tasted wonderful, the actual pie filling was much too shallow to make an impressive looking dessert. Next time, I would either double the pie filling mixture or make my own crust.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from this pie was REALLY GOOD! this pie was REALLY GOOD! i made it for my mom's birthday & she loved it. the crust was really thick and crumbly, so i suggest using less oreos & more caramels & pecans. but otherwise the taste was delicious!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Everyone thought this tasted like a turtle candy! Everyone thought this tasted like a turtle candy! I, too, would suggest using fewer oreos and I doubled the caramels becuse the suggested amount did not fill up the crust. But it was very rich and delicious!
