Is there anything finer than the smell of chocolate chunk cookies baking? We think not. Unless it's these chocolate chunk cookies with pecans.

What You Need

cups  flour

tsp.  baking soda
1/4
tsp.  salt
1
cup  butter, softened
3/4
cup  granulated sugar
3/4
cup  packed brown sugar
2
 eggs
1
tsp.  vanilla
1
pkg.  (12 oz.) BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chunks
1
cup  chopped PLANTERS Pecans

Make It

HEAT oven to 375°F.

COMBINE flour, baking soda and salt. Beat butter and sugars in large bowl with mixer until light and fluffy. Blend in eggs and vanilla. Gradually add flour mixture, mixing well after each addition. Stir in chocolate chunks and nuts.

DROP teaspoonfuls of dough, 2 inches apart, onto baking sheets.

BAKE 10 min. or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheet 1 min. Remove to wire racks; cool completely.

Substitute
Substitute 3 pkg. (4 oz. each) BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate, chopped, for the chocolate chunks.
Variation
Line 15x10x1-inch pan with foil, with ends of foil extending over sides; spray with cooking spray. Prepare dough as directed; spread onto bottom of prepared pan. Bake 20 min. or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan. Use foil handles to remove dessert from pan before cutting into bars.
