I would increase the salt to 1 tsp. next time.....it needed a little more flavor, but very good made with the chocolate chunks, mmmm.

About 6 dozen cookies or 36 servings, 2 cookies each

What You Need

cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
3/4
cup granulated sugar
3/4
cup firmly packed brown sugar

 eggs
1
tsp. vanilla
2-1/4
cups flour
1
tsp. baking soda
1/4
tsp. salt
1
pkg. (12 oz.) BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chunks
1
cup chopped PLANTERS Pecans

Make It

PREHEAT oven to 375°F. Beat butter and sugars in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy. Blend in eggs and vanilla. Add flour, baking soda and salt; mix well. Stir in chocolate chunks and pecans.

DROP teaspoonfuls of dough, 2 inches apart, onto ungreased baking sheets.

BAKE 10 min. or until golden brown. Remove from baking sheets. Cool on wire racks. Store leftover cookies in tightly covered container at room temperature.

Variation
Line 15x10x1-inch baking pan with foil, with ends of foil extending over sides of pan; grease foil. Set aside. Prepare dough as directed; spread into prepared pan. Bake 20 min. or until golden brown. Cool in pan. Lift dessert out of pan, using foil handles. Discard foil. Cut dessert into 36 bars. Store in tightly covered container at room temperature. Makes 3 dozen bars or 36 servings, 1 bar each.
Substitute
Substitute 1-1/2 pkg. (12 squares) BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Baking Chocolate, chopped, for the semi-sweet chocolate chunks.
