The scones were wonderful! Several girlfriends and I had gone to London a number of years ago and vowed to have tea and scones upon return to the U.S. Four years later, we finally had our tea party. The scones were great, along with chocolate dipped strawberries. Of course we are chocoholics, so it was not too sweet or too much chocolate! I made them in the shape the recipe said, although we enjoyed them in London in the shape of a tall biscuit. Will make them again!
