I modify the recipe by using different cookies, then a layer of ice cream, a layer of hot fudge, more cookies then more ice cream. Everyone begs me to make it for their bday! Amazingly easy!

Very simple to prepare, but kind of boring to eat. Might try it again with different ice cream flavors.

This was a big hit at a party. BUT, I did not use the actual ingredients listed. I made homemade chocolate chip cookies ("Wookie Cookies" from the Star Wars Cookbook - an amazing chocolate chip cookie), and homemade ice cream (the Triple Chocolate recipe that comes with the ice cream maker attachment from KitchenAid), and topped with homemade whipping cream. So I can't really say how the store-bought ingredients come together - but my over-the-top version was worth it!
