Here's something that nobody can deny: Oreo knows how to celebrate a birthday. Make this looks-like-a-giant-cookie cake and clink milk glasses to 100 more years.

What You Need

pkg. (2-layer size) devil's food cake mix

pkg. (4 oz.) BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate

1/4

cup butter

pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened

1/2

cup sugar

cups thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping

OREO Cookies, coarsely crushed

tube (4.25 oz.) white decorating icing

Make It

HEAT oven to 350ºF.

PREPARE cake batter and bake in 2 (9-inch) round pans as directed on package. Cool cakes in pans 10 min. Invert onto wire racks; gently remove pans. Cool cakes completely.

MICROWAVE chocolate and butter in small microwaveable bowl on HIGH 2 min. or until butter is melted. Stir until chocolate is completely melted. Cool 5 min. Meanwhile, beat cream cheese and sugar in large bowl with mixer until well blended. Gently stir in COOL WHIP.

PLACE 1 cake layer on plate; spread with cream cheese mixture. Top with cookie crumbs and remaining cake layer. Spread top with chocolate glaze; let stand 10 min. or until firm. Decorate with icing. Keep refrigerated.

I made this cake (at my daughter's request)for her 9th birthday. It was good but if I was to make it again I would put the 1/2 of the cream cheese layer, the Oreo layer & then put the rest of the cream cheese layer again along with some of the "frosting" before putting the top cake layer on. I might even let the "frosting" drip off the top onto the sides. I think that would make this dessert even better!

The only issues I had was the chocolate....it didn't spread like frosting, but it was YUMMY! Turned out really well! Will make it again!

This was AMAZING!!! Very easy to make, I added the cream cheese mix on the cake before it was cool enough so the center melted out onto the plate.. but still delicious!
