What You Need

Tbsp. butter or margarine

cups (1/2 of 10-1/2-oz. pkg.) JET-PUFFED Miniature Marshmallows

1/2

cup peanut butter, divided

cups honey-flavored multi-grain cereal flakes with oat clusters

squares BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate

Make It

GREASE 8-inch square pan lightly. Microwave butter and marshmallows in large microwaveable bowl on HIGH 30 sec.; stir. Microwave 30 sec. or until marshmallows are melted when stirred.

RESERVE 2 Tbsp. peanut butter for frosting; set aside. Stir remaining peanut butter into marshmallow mixture. Immediately add cereal; toss until well coated. Press mixture into prepared pan.

MICROWAVE chocolate and reserved 2 Tbsp. peanut butter in microwaveable bowl 1 to 1-1/2 min., stirring after 30 sec. Stir until chocolate is completely melted and mixture is smooth. Pour over cereal mixture; spread to cover. Refrigerate 15 min. until frosting is set. Cut into 16 squares.

Substitute

Prepare as directed, using 4 cups letter-shaped sweetened oat and corn cereal.

Special Extra

Add 1/2 cup PLANTERS Peanuts with cereal to make an extra-peanutty treat.

Make it Easy

To pat cereal mixture into pan easily, lightly spray finger tips with cooking spray.

Very tasty! I made the mistake of using regular Baker's chocolate the first time I made it. Ugh! I tried it again with the correct chocolate and that made all the difference. It is hard to get all the cereal to stick together. More marshmallows might help.

I have been making this recipe for about 2 years now and I have NEVER had a negative comment. Not only do my husband and I love it, but friends request it all the time as well! The only thing I change is the Semi-Sweet Chocolate, I use Milk Chocolate instead!

Every time I go visit one of my friends he asks me to bring a sheet of this to him. It's a great recipe, one of my favourites.

This recipe was good. My daughter who is five had one, and she thought she would like to make the cookies again. We had fun making them together.

Huge hit with the baseball team! And so easy to make! I did add an extra cup of marshmallow mixture and extra peanut butter in the topping. It's so good!

I loved it! I doubled the chocolate because it looked like it needed more, but I was wrong. Stick to the recipe! These are the perfect chocolate fix! They were hard to cut right out of the frig. A pizza cutter will do the job though! The recipe sounds a little gross, if you like chocolate... make them!

This recipe was ok........it tasted good but it did not end up looking it does on the site.......i had to use more marshmellows than it called for.......to much cereal not enough marshmellows.
