What You Need

1/4
cup  butter, softened

cup  sugar
1
cup  mashed fully ripe bananas (about 3)
1
cup  BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream
2
 eggs
2-1/4
cups  flour
1-1/2
tsp.  CALUMET Baking Powder
1/2
tsp.  baking soda
1/2
tsp.  salt
1
cup  chopped PLANTERS Walnuts
2
oz.  BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate
3
Tbsp.  whipping cream

Make It

HEAT oven to 350ºF.

BEAT butter and sugar in large bowl with mixer until well blended. Add bananas, sour cream and eggs; mix well. Add combined dry ingredients; mix just until moistened. Stir in nuts.

POUR into greased and floured 9x5-inch loaf pan.

BAKE 1 hour or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 5 min.; remove from pan to wire rack. Cool completely.

COOK chocolate and cream in small heavy saucepan on very low heat 3 to 5 min. or until chocolate is completely melted, stirring frequently. Cool 5 min. or until slightly thickened. Drizzle over bread. Let stand until glaze is set. Refrigerate leftovers.

Prepare batter as directed; spoon into 16 paper-lined muffin cups. Bake 22 to 24 min. or until toothpick inserted in centers comes out clean. Cool in pan 5 min. Remove to wire racks; cool. Glaze as directed.

Prepare batter as directed; pour into 5 (6x3-inch) foil pans sprayed with cooking spray. Bake 30 min. or until toothpick inserted in centers comes out clean. Glaze as directed. Makes 15 servings.
