This is the perfect cake for one or two people, since the receipe is just one layer, and it is delicious all by itself. Does not need iceing at all.

As suggested I put strawberries on top w/cool whip and I substituted the bittersweet chocolate for semi sweet chocolate. It was wonderful.

This is a perfectly simple chocolate cake. I sprinkled a bit of powdered sugar on it and garnished it with fresh strawberries--it looked gorgeous, was easy to make, and tasted great. I also served it with some whipped cream on the side, which complimented the strong chocolate flavor well.
