Chocolate-Peanut Butter Bars

A creamy peanut butter filling is sandwiched between a graham cracker base and chocolate. Grab a bar before you pack 'em for the potluck—they'll go fast.

What You Need

1-1/2

cups crushed chocolate-covered graham crackers (about 17 crackers)

Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted

pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened

cup PLANTERS Crunchy Peanut Butter

cup powdered sugar

oz. BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate

tsp. butter or margarine

Make It

HEAT oven to 350°F.

MIX crumbs and melted butter; press onto bottom of 9-inch square pan. Bake 10 to 15 min. or until lightly browned. Cool.

BEAT cream cheese, peanut butter and sugar in small bowl with mixer until well blended. Spread over crust.

MICROWAVE chocolate and 1 tsp. butter in small microwaveable bowl on HIGH 1 to 2 min. or until chocolate begins to melt, stirring after 1 min. Stir until chocolate is completely melted. Drizzle over cream cheese mixture. Refrigerate at least 4 hours.

Place completely unwrapped package of cream cheese in microwaveable bowl. Microwave on HIGH 10 sec. or just until softened. Add 15 sec. for each additional package of cream cheese.

I doubled the recipe and put it in a 13" X 9" pan. They are so rich so they cut into small pieces, but Oh so yummy. A definite receipe to make again!

IT WAS ONE OF THE BEST DESSERTS I HAVE EVER HAD. I MADE IT AND HAD A LOT OF PEOPLE TRY IT. SO YES I THOUGHT IT WAS VERY GOOD.

Very good except I would also use Pam spray under the Grahams. It really stuck to the pan.

I made this recipe into a pie with a pre-made graham cracker crust. The whole pie only took 5 minutes to devour. Very good recipe. It's now one of my favorites :)
