  • Whisk 1/2 cup peanut butter and milk in medium bowl until blended. Add dry pudding mix; beat 2 min. Stir in 1 cup COOL WHIP.
  • Arrange 4 ice cream sandwiches, long sides together, on 24-inch-long sheet of Reynolds Wrap® Aluminum Foil; top with half the pudding mixture. Repeat layers. Top with remaining sandwiches.
  • Mix remaining peanut butter and COOL WHIP until blended; spread onto top and sides of dessert.
  • Freeze 4 hours or until firm. Top with nuts before serving.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Made this over the wknd. Made this over the wknd. Followed the advise of another reviewer and used the 16oz cool whip. I thought the sandwiches would end up being mushy, as sometimes they are soft to begin with but not so. I think being wrapped loosely in foil def help them freeze better!. Easy to make and everyone loved it! Will be trying the oreo version next!

(even people that claimed that they didn't want any dessert - had seconds) I froze cake before frosting, then stored it in the freezer before serving. Will be making this recipe again.....by popular demand

Next time will make it with sugar free ice cream sandwiches, sugar free pudding and no sugar whipped topping so my husband will be able to enjoy more of it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great recipe. Great recipe. Skipped the peanut garnish and used 16 oz. tub Cool Whip (half in the pudding mixture, half in the frosting) so I could get a taller cake with a thicker frosting layer. Next time I might add some mini chocolate chips to the pudding mixture.
