  • Heat oven to 350°F.
  • Beat butter and sugar in large bowl with mixer until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well.
  • Mix flour, cocoa powder and baking soda. Add to butter mixture; mix well. Stir in nuts.
  • Drop tablespoonfuls of dough, 3 inches apart, onto baking sheets.
  • Bake 10 to 12 min. or until lightly browned. Cool on baking sheets 2 min. Remove to wire racks; cool completely.
