It was called Philly Fudge. I guess the receipe was about 30 yrs old. I made the receipe using the Jet-puffed Marshmallow creme. Never again! It had a candy base and I had to use a candy thermometer. I was looking for this one. its sooo easy. no cooking, except for the melting of the choclate. Do you include this receipe on the wrapper of the cream cheese.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This was very easy to make. This was very easy to make. However, it does taste alot like the creamcheese. I thought the sugar would make it less cheesy, but it kinda tastes like a fudge cheesecake. Not that its a bad thing. I also added toasted coconut instead of nuts. Turned out great, but not what I was looking for. I don't like fudge with the marshmallow creme, so I thought this would be better. I'll keep searching!

Unfortunately when she died I did not find the recipe in with her others that were saved. I was elated when I found it online earlier this year. It is wonderful and I am making it for Christmas gifts for a couple of very special medical providers.

I used this recipe while running a small cafe and it was the biggest hit with my customers. I could make a triple batch and sell out within minutes. A fellow chef now uses this recipe in the catering department of a large hotel and it is one of her most requested items.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Is this a smooth melt-in-your-mouth fudge candy? Is this a smooth melt-in-your-mouth fudge candy? No. But I do like how the cream cheese adds a zing to the flavor and this is super quick and easy to make. It reminded me of cream cheese frosting. I would make this again for something different.

I have made this Fudge for years because it is the only kind I can make without a a flop and a mess. The recipe used to be on the Cream Cheese package. I wish there was one similar using cocoa or a way to use it in this recipe.
