Chocolate Pools

Melted semi-sweet chocolate is spooned into small circles on wax paper and topped with toasted almonds for easy candies that make great gifts.

What You Need

pkg.  (4 oz. each) BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate, broken into pieces
cup  PLANTERS Slivered Almonds, toasted

Make It

MICROWAVE chocolate in microwaveable bowl on HIGH 2 to 3 min. or until almost melted, stirring after 1-1/2 min. Stir until chocolate is completely melted.

SPOON scant tablespoonfuls of chocolate onto waxed paper-covered baking sheet or tray; spread to form 2-inch circles. Immediately sprinkle with almonds.

REFRIGERATE 30 min. or until chocolate is firm. Store in tightly covered container in refrigerator.

A serving of this sweet treat goes a long way on chocolate flavor.
Prepare as directed, using one of the following flavor options: Pretzel Pools: Substitute 1 cup broken salted pretzel rods for the almonds. Drizzle with 2 oz. melted BAKER'S Premium White Baking Chocolate before refrigerating. Rocky Road Pools: Substitute 1/2 cup JET-PUFFED Miniature Marshmallows and 1/3 cup PLANTERS Peanuts for the almonds. White Chocolate Pools: Use 1-1/2 pkg. (4 oz. each) BAKER'S Premium White Baking Chocolate (6 oz.).
