Chocolate Pudding Cookies

Made easy with pudding and baking mixes, this fudgy dough is rolled into balls, flattened and sprinkled with sugar. The kids will have fun helping you make them.

what you need

pkg. (4-serving size) JELL-O Chocolate Instant Pudding

cup all-purpose baking mix

1/4

cup oil

egg

1/4

cup sugar

Make It

PREHEAT oven to 350°F. Mix dry pudding mix and baking mix in medium bowl. Stir in oil and egg with wooden spoon until mixture forms ball.

SHAPE dough into 36 small balls, each about 1/2 inch in diameter. Place, 2 inches apart, on ungreased baking sheets. Flatten each cookie with bottom of drinking glass; sprinkle with sugar.

BAKE 5 to 8 minutes or until cookies feel set to the touch. Cool on wire racks.

I cant even tell you how easy these cookies where to make. We made them for my husband's cousin, who was 2 1/2 and decorated them with colored icing for halloween! Very delicous!!!! Loved them and will make them again. They dont make alot though so I would recommend a double batch if you want cookies big enough to decorate.

This recipe is terrible! The mix isn't moist enough to make balls and if you can get a few out to bake they taste aweful!!!

I added sugar,pecans, milk chocolate chips, then this recipe was good, Let stay in oven to get crunchier.

i dont know if maybe i made a mistake, but my cookies came out slaty and crumbly, not very tastty

Wow. Were these awful! No flavor at all, very salty. What a waste of a good pudding mix. Even more sugar on the top would not help this recipe.

These cookies were easy and simple, but not very exciting. Their appearance was bland, and the flavor did not make up for it.

Maybe it's the altitude, but these little suckers are kind of hard to roll into a ball without it collapsing. These were good on their own, but I thought some peanut butter would really make them shine. So, I mixed about a 1/2 cup of creamy peanut butter with an electric mixer until it was fluffy. I loaded it into a zip-top bag and piped it onto every other cookie bottom to make sandwich cookies. Yum!

THESE WERE QUICK AND EASY...I MADE THEM USING THE SUGAR FREE FAT FREE PUDDING MIX AND USED UNSWEENTENED APPLESAUCE INSTEAD OF USING OIL, REDUCING THE CALORIES EVEN MORE!! MY KIDS LOVED THEM!!
