This special treat has built-in portion control and can be enjoyed on occasion.
Prepare using a yellow cake mix and reducing oil to 1/3 cup.
Bake cake mix as directed. Immediately press 1/2 cup candy-coated chocolate pieces into tops of 16 cookies. Beat 3/4 cup peanut butter into filling mixture. Slice 4 bananas. Spread bottom side of each undecorated cookie with COOL WHIP mixture. Top with bananas and decorated cookies.
Prepare as directed, omitting strawberries. Crush 60 hard peppermint candies. Stir half the crushed candies into filling mixture, and use remaining to coat edges of assembled whoopie pies.
Prepare using a yellow cake mix and reducing oil to 1/3 cup. Bake as directed. Immediately press 1/2 cup toasted BAKER'S ANGEL FLAKE Coconut into tops of 16 cookies. Add an additional 1 cup toasted coconut, 1 drained 8-oz. can crushed pineapple and 1 tsp. rum extract to filling. Continue as directed.
Prepare using a spice cake mix and reducing oil to 1/3 cup. Bake as directed. Omit strawberries. Top COOL WHIP mixture on 16 cookies with a 21-oz. can apple pie filling, 1 tsp. ground cinnamon and remaining cookies.
