  • Heat oven to 325ºF.
  • Beat Neufchatel cheese, butter, 1-1/4 cups sugar and vanilla in large bowl with mixer until blended. Add flour, 1/2 cup cocoa powder and baking soda; beat until blended. Add nuts; mix well. Refrigerate 1 hour.
  • Shape tablespoonfuls of dough into small balls; place, 1 inch apart, on ungreased baking sheets.
  • Bake 20 min. Cool on baking sheets 1 min. Remove to wire racks; cool completely. Dip cookies in remaining sugar; sprinkle with remaining cocoa powder.


Substitute PLANTERS Pecans for the walnuts.
