The best way to keep brownies fresh and moist is to store them right in the baking pan. Cover pan tightly with foil and store at room temperature. Uncut brownies will stay fresh longer, so cut brownies just before serving when possible.
Basic brownies freeze very well. Cool completely, then frost if desired. For best results, do not cut up the brownies before freezing. Wrap tightly in plastic wrap, then wrap again in foil. Freeze up to 3 months. Thaw at room temperature before serving.
