Ratings & Reviews

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very tasty. Very tasty. I made this meal on a weeknight and it was an easy change of pace. I was unsure of the combination of carrotts, apples, mustard, and catalina dressing but it was delicious. I think next time I will adda little more water to prevent the stuffing from tasting too dry. My husband cleaned his plate and normally he does not eat pork chops without complaining

At first glance I thought it looked interesting at best but it fit the need I had to use what was in my kitchen. Then putting it together, I was really worried about how it would turn out. I even had my husband take a bite first because I was afraid! Turns out it was MOUTH WATERING GOOD!! Will definately make it again.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from The flavor combination was good but this wasn't a hit with my family. The flavor combination was good but this wasn't a hit with my family. We all voted not to make this again. I agree with some of the other reviews, you need a bit more water than the recipe calls for. I'd even try some apple juice to add some more depth of flavor and moisture too.

After browning the pork chops in a sauce pan, I follow the package directions for the potatoes, adding the apple & carrot, as well as extra shredded cheddar. Also, I leave out the salad dressing.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Family expecially liked the mustard on the chops. Family expecially liked the mustard on the chops. I cooked the carrots in the just the dressing, when they were done then I added the water and another 1/4 cup of dressing. After that boiled I added the stuffing. I didn't use the apples (family doesn't like cooked apples).

Rated 3 out of 5 by from This had a good flavor to it, but it was too dry. This had a good flavor to it, but it was too dry. Next time I would increase the water to at least 2 cups, otherwise there is not enough to moisten the Stove Top when you add it. I did not add the apples as my husband doesn't like them in stuffing-still was good.

Was kind of hesitant since it has the apples and carrots in it, but it turned very good. I didn't care for the stuffin all that much, may try something differnet to go with it next time.
