  • Pour Macaroni in 2-qt. microwaveable casserole or bowl. Add hot water.
  • Microwave, uncovered, on HIGH 10 to 11 min. or until water is absorbed, stirring with spoon after 5 min. Caution: Bowl will be hot.
  • Add butter, milk, Cheese Sauce Mix and peas; mix well. (Cheese Sauce will thicken upon standing.) Spoon into serving bowls. Top with chow mein noodles.
  • NOTE: Microwave ovens vary. Cooking times are approximate.
