Cinnamon-Apple Morning Sandwich Recipe

What You Need

slices whole grain cinnamon-raisin bread

Tbsp. PHILADELPHIA Fat Free Cream Cheese, softened

thin apple slices

1/8

tsp. ground cinnamon

1

tsp. margarine

Make It

SPREAD bread with cream cheese. Top 1 bread slice with apples; sprinkle with cinnamon. Cover with remaining bread slice, cream cheese-side down.

MELT margarine in nonstick skillet on medium heat. Add sandwich; cook 3 min. on each side or until golden brown on both sides.

We used to make this in the deli at college that I worked in. A variation of it is to use peanut butter instead of the cream cheese! Very taste!

Made this for Christmas morning. It was a special treat, yet light enough considering we would have a full meal later in the day. Will make a again, maybe add some apricot preserves next time.

I really liked this one and so did my husband. It was really filling but we couldn't get enough! Super simple and fast, we used our toaster instead of cooking it in a skillet.
