Cinnamon Apple Snack Cake

Crushed cinnamon graham crackers replace the flour in this quick and easy homemade cake. Laced with apples and walnuts, it’s a tasty snack or dessert.

What You Need

eggs

cup granulated sugar

1/2

cup (1 stick) margarine or butter, melted

HONEY MAID Cinnamon Grahams, finely crushed (about 2 cups crumbs)

medium apple, peeled, cored and chopped

3/4

cup chopped PLANTERS Walnuts

Tbsp. powdered sugar

Make It

PREHEAT oven to 350°F. Beat eggs lightly in medium bowl with wire whisk. Add granulated sugar and margarine; mix well. Stir in graham crumbs, apple and walnuts until well blended.

SPREAD evenly into greased 8-inch square baking pan.

BAKE 40 to 45 minutes or until firm to the touch. Cool completely. Cut into 16 squares to serve. Sprinkle with powdered sugar just before serving.

This was very easy to make and extremely yummy! Very moist! As others have also done, I didn't have cinnamon Graham's on hand so I used regular ones and added a tsp of cinnamon. I will definitely be making this again!!

I didn't have the deep pan to make this cake so I ended up make 3 small cake but was a total hit with my family and not at all difficult to make!

added more apple and used regular gram crakers, and topped it with wipped cream. it was great.

I couldn't believe how easy this cake came together. I used applesauce in place of the butter. Also, I didn't have cinnamon graham crackers, so I just added cinnamon along with plain graham crackers. The cake was moist and good. I stored the leftover in a sealed container in the refrigerator. Just right for a cool fall day!
