I didn't make this exactly as printed: to try to make it a bit easier on calories and fat, I used a pre-made graham-cracker pie crust (I don't have a springform pan), used neufchatel cheese, Lite Cool Whip instead of regular, and I substituted about 1/3 cup of the liquid from the can of oranges. I have a great whipped cream-like pie, but nothing that's the texture of cheesecake. I'm still adding the recipe to my arsenal of desserts, just not as cheesecake!
