It was a little bland for me. I think I'll try it next time with either mascarpone or cream cheese.
The little I got to eat was great, between my husband and kids I got in a few bites. I think I would add more pepper next time.
This was a mixed bag. I brought it to a Christmas Day party and only a few people picked at it. It was a little bland and needed more pepper. I also made it with part-skim ricotta and I'm sure that was part of the problem. I do like this recipe; I think it would be best for a spring or summer gathering due to the citrus flavor, which makes it refreshing. I will try it again with full-fat ricotta.
