I used the mandarin orange segments, added fresh sliced mushrooms, cherry tomatoe halfs, and substituted balsalmic vinaigrette dressing, Was attractive, easy and dekicious.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This was an acceptable dish. This was an acceptable dish. I used mandarin oranges and added some ham chunks and black olives to it. I think I'd like this better though if the mandarin oranges were left out and maybe use fried rice instead for a better flavoring.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent recipe. Excellent recipe. I, also, modified this recipe by substituting some of the water to boil the rice with the juice from the canned mandarin oranges. I also added sliced almonds and shredded turkey.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from this was a great salad with a couple of modifications. this was a great salad with a couple of modifications. it would be great with more orange slices. i also substitued balsamic viniagrette dressing for the catalina. definitely worth repeating!
