I've had this and made it many times and it's delicious and easy, but when I had it at someone's party served with awful (to me!) vinegar chips, I was shocked to find it was to die for! Really! I then served it this way at home for a party, and my father asked to take the leftovers home! :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I make this clam dip a bit differently than this recipe. I make this clam dip a bit differently than this recipe. I use one can of clams, a pkg of cream cheese, 1 tsp and lemon juice and 1 tsp of horseradish. I serve it with potato chips and it is always the hit of the party! Definately worth trying! It'll become your new favorite!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I make an even better version of this! I make an even better version of this! Substitute 1 TB of horseradish for the wochester sauce, add a bit of butter (1/4 - 1/2 stick) and a few dashes of hot sauce. I make this one all the time. Btw - this is really best served with crackers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I made this recipe several times. I made this recipe several times. You used to be able to buy clam dip in the supermarkets, but I can't find it anymore. I make this recipe and double it. It is not overwhelmingly clammy. It's just the right combination of ingredients.

Not exactly as good as the prepackaged clam dip that I used to find in the grocery stores years ago that has seemed to be dicontinued, not like that of the easy to find onion dips but it is a close second.
