Clams Casino Dip

What You Need

slices  OSCAR MAYER Bacon, chopped
cup  finely chopped red peppers
 shallot, finely chopped
clove  garlic, minced
cup  dry white wine
pkg.  (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, cubed, softened
cans  (6.5 oz. each) minced clams, drained
cup  KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese, divided
 Large thin wheat snack crackers, divided

Make It

HEAT oven to 350ºF.

COOK bacon in medium skillet until crisp; drain. Return bacon to skillet. Add next 3 ingredients; cook 5 to 8 min. or until peppers are crisp-tender. Stir in wine; cook 3 min. or until liquid is cooked off, stirring frequently. Remove from heat.

ADD cream cheese, clams and 2 Tbsp. Parmesan; mix well. Spread onto bottom of 9-inch pie plate sprayed with cooking spray. Finely crush 8 crackers; mix with remaining Parmesan. Sprinkle over dip.

BAKE 15 to 20 min. or until hot and bubbly. Serve with additional crackers.

Garnish with lemon slices.
Prepare using RITZ Crackers, crushing 4 of the crackers for the topping. Makes 16 servings, 2 Tbsp. dip and 5 crackers each.
How to Soften Cream Cheese
Place completely unwrapped package of cream cheese in microwaveable bowl. Microwave on HIGH 10 sec. or just until softened. Add 15 sec. for each additional package of cream cheese.
