  • Place cheese, beer, butter and seasonings in saucepan; cook on low heat until cheese is completely melted, stirring occasionally.
  • Beat egg lightly with fork in small bowl. Remove small amount of cheese sauce from saucepan. Add to egg; mix until well blended. Add to remaining cheese sauce in saucepan; stir until well blended. Cook until thickened, stirring frequently.
  • Place 2 toast triangles on each serving plate. Top evenly with cheese sauce just before serving.

For a delightful brunch idea, serve with a seasonal fresh fruit salad.

Special Extra

Add 6 slices OSCAR MAYER Bacon, crisply cooked and crumbled, to cheese sauce just before serving over toast slices.

Substitute

Substitute KRAFT Sharp Cheddar Cheese for CRACKER BARREL Cheese. Or, for a quick and easy alternative, use KRAFT Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese.

Others may want to put the horseradish in a small bowl and permit guests to add a little or a lot as they choose. Garlic powder can substitute for the fresh, but not garlic salt... the end product becomes way too salty. W/O the spices its good for upset bowels and or tummys.
