Classic Creamed Spinach Casserole

I do like spinach but didn't care for this dish at all.

Loved it!! We made this for a Thanksgiving dinner and my Mom couldn't get enough. Would definitely make it again!

I made this and followed the directions to a tee. I also added to it after reviewing comments on line in the ratings, I use a pound of Spinach extra an put it in a Power Juice Extractor (Jack La Lanes)an added a can of mushroom soup. Took to a neighborhood outing after Tripling the recipe an baked in a Roaster Pan. When I returned to get the pan someone was actually rubbing the sides with a hard-roll to get the residues.It was wiped out clean. I also had a line of ladies wanting the recipe, I told em each to call me or email me an met one, now we are cooking together.

I agree the recipe was a tad dry. I added a little chicken broth hoping to aviod the dryness, but should have added more. I also added onion powder (didn't have an onion on hand), garlic and salt. I topped with pepper jack cheese and croutons. I would make this again but increase the chicken broth to about 3/4 cup.

I made this recipe and it was very lemony. My family loves creamed spinach but this just wasn't good. It's too thick if you follow the recipe. It needs more milk or something. My kids could hardly swallow this. We didn't eat it and threw what was left away.

YUCK!! I usually like spinach but this was just off, I would have to get a different "classic" creamed recipe....

Made it last night. It was dry and had very little taste.

Ok, but it definately needed salt or something.

I might use a little bit less cream cheese next time

Very good and good for you if you use the low fat cream cheese. I omitted the lemon pepper and added garlic powder and red pepper. I would definitely make this again.
