  • Heat oven to 450ºF.
  • Mix mayo and mustard; spread onto 4 bread slices. Cover with cheese, ham and remaining bread slices.

Serving Suggestion

For a refreshing ending, serve with 1 cup of your favorite cut-up fresh fruit, such as cantaloupe or mixed berries.

How to Dip Sandwiches

When dipping sandwiches, let each sandwich soak in egg mixture about 30 sec. to absorb as much of the egg mixture as possible.

Should mention that I grilled the sandwiches, not baked as I did not think baking would crisp it well enough

Definitely didn't crisp up in the oven. Would recommend adding time to baking and maybe using less than half the mayonnaise and mustard mixture. I made mine using dijon mustard, and that was an especially tasty choice!
