  • Sprinkle gelatine over 1 cup of the cold juice in large bowl; let stand 1 min. to soften gelatine. Add hot juice; stir 5 min. or until gelatine is completely dissolved.
  • Add remaining 2 cups cold juice, the lemon juice, sugar, Worcestershire sauce and pepper sauce; mix well. Pour into 5-1/2-cup ring mold or bowl.
  • Refrigerate 4 hours or until firm. Unmold onto serving plate to serve.

Pour 1/3 inch of aspic mixture into a flat pan or Pyrex dish, chill until almost set, then arrange avocado slices and slices of Large pimiento-stuffed olives on top of aspic layer. Spoon rest of aspic over the veggies, and chill until set. Unmold onto serving platter. Mix equal amounts of Mayonnaise and sour cream for dressing. A pinch of horseradish may be added if desired. Traditional Christmas Salad in our family.

This is a variation of a classic Jello recipe my mother used to make, but she made it with lemon jello & tomato juice. (Adding sliced cucumbers & green onions.) It is one of my favorites! And healthy!
