STIR boiling water into dry gelatin mix in medium bowl at least 2 min. until completely dissolved. Add enough ice to cold water to measure 1-1/4 cups. Add to gelatin; stir until slightly thickened. Discard any unmelted ice. Remove 1 cup of the gelatin mixture; set aside. Add whipped topping to remaining gelatin; stir with wire whisk until well blended.
SPOON clear and creamy gelatins alternately into four parfait glasses or dessert dishes.
REFRIGERATE 2 hours or until firm. Store leftover parfaits in refrigerator.
