24 servings

What You Need

pkg.  (2-layer size) white cake mix
cup  KOOL-AID Sugar-Sweetened Drink Mix, any flavor
container  (16 oz.) ready-to-spread vanilla frosting
piece  red string licorice (3 inch), cut in half
pkg.  (1.69 oz.) candy-coated chocolate pieces (about 2 Tbsp.)
tube  (19.28 g) decorating gel, any color

Make It

PREPARE cake batter and bake as directed on package for 24 cupcakes, blending dry drink mix into batter before spooning into prepared muffin pan cups. Cool completely.

ARRANGE 18 cupcakes in curved line on platter to resemble a snake's body. Arrange remaining cupcakes at one end in a sideways "V" pattern, with 4 cupcakes at top and 2 at bottom to resemble snake's open mouth. Spread cupcakes with frosting.

ADD licorice pieces to inside of mouth for the tongue. Add 2 candies for the eyes. Decorate with remaining candies and decorating gel to add spots and lines to remaining cupcakes for the snake's body.

Kraft Kitchens Tips

Prepare using ready-to-spread chocolate frosting.
How to Easily Fill Muffin Cups
Filling muffin cups with muffin or cupcake batter can be a messy task. Make it neat and easy by using an ice cream scoop to fill the cups. This also ensures that an equal amount of batter is portioned into each muffin cup.
