  • Heat oven to 400ºF.
  • Beat egg in shallow bowl. Combine coconut and coating mix in separate shallow bowl.
  • Dip shrimp, 1 at a time, in egg, then in coconut mixture, turning to evenly coat each shrimp. Place on baking sheet sprayed with cooking spray.
  • Bake 10 to 12 min. or until shrimp are tender. Meanwhile, microwave remaining ingredients in microwaveable bowl on HIGH 30 sec. or until heated through.
  • Serve shrimp with sauce.

Shortcut

Only three ingredients are needed to coat the shrimp. And, there's no messy frying in hot oil. Instead just coat, and bake just 12 min.

Substitute

Substitute Sriracha sauce, a variety of Thai hot sauce, for the plain hot pepper sauce.

So easy and the whole family loves it. I double the shrimp and the dipping sauce for a family of four because it goes so fast. I spray the top of the shrimp with cooking spray as well and flip them with a couple minutes to go to make sure they get crispy on both sides.
