  • Preheat oven to 400°F. Cut 1/2-inch-thick slice off top of bread loaf; set aside. Hollow out interior of loaf. Reserve removed bread for making croutons or another use. Spread inside of bread loaf with mayo.
  • Fill bread shell with layers of half each of the turkey, cheese and bacon; top with vegetables. Repeat layers of turkey, cheese and bacon. Cover with top of bread; wrap in foil.
  • Bake 30 min. or until sandwich is heated through and cheese is melted. Let stand 10 min. before cutting into wedges to serve. (Or to serve as a cold sandwich, do not wrap in foil and omit the baking step.)

Substitute

Prepare as directed, using 6 slices KRAFT Singles Select.

Serving Suggestion

Add baked chips and a fresh fruit platter to the menu and you've got all the makings for a party.

How to Make Croutons

Cut bread removed from inside of loaf into small cubes; toss with 2 Tbsp. KRAFT Zesty Italian Dressing. Spread in 15x10x1-inch baking pan. Bake at 400°F for 10 to 12 min. or until golden brown, stirring after 5 min. Sprinkle over a mixed green salad tossed with your favorite KRAFT Dressing, such as CATALINA.

My kids really liked this recipe. It's great for a quick weekend supper or party dish. I like to switch the meats and cheeses around each time I make it for variety. Salami, Provel, Roast Beef, and Ham seem to be the favorite combination so far.
