I made my own chocolate topping and used banana but it would be good with a combo of banana and strawberry. This was a hit at our pot luck at church. Was unclear about 2 cups of cool whip, when you look at a measurement chart 2 cups would be 16 ounces so I used a tub and half of lite cool whip.(8 ounce tub)

I have made this recipe several times. It is always a big hit. I use strawberries as my topping. I don't add any flavoring to the cream cheese and cool whip mixture. For the people who don't eat fruit, I just use mini-chocolate chips as the topping.
