Two eyes made out of coal would be more authentic, but we chose to decorate our creamy snowman dessert with chocolate sandwich cookies instead.

I made this for Christmas basically for the WOW factor of how it looked, expecting it to be too sweet to actually eat, except for the kids, of course. It was SIMPLE to make, most of it was the day before, then just frosting with cool whip right before serving. I served it in little slivers, and it was a hit - with everyone! A few hours later, it was GONE. A new Christmas tradition has been born! A good one for low stress to make, presentation, and taste.

Once for her birthday to bring to school. The kids and teachers all loved it. Her teacher raved so much, I was dying to try it myself and made it to bring along on Christmas Day. It was a huge hit! I would definitely make this again! Super easy!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My son and I made this recipe around Christmas time. My son and I made this recipe around Christmas time. I found the pudding mixture was a little runny at first, but the oreos did end up soaking up some of that moisture. It had the consistency of a chocolate cake. It was very simple to make and very good too. It is a little rich, but it's still wonderful!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So easy and so good! So easy and so good! I made it with instant pudding the first time and cooked pudding the second... cooked pudding was definitely better, but instant was good too! My teenage step-daughters love to help make it and LOVE to eat it! We have decorated it different ways for different occasions. Very fun!

Made this recipe with grandchildren during their recent Christmas visit---lots of fun (ages 4 and 8)--and everyone loved it! The grandchildren were so excited that they helped make it. Only suggestion I would make: would use the 6-serving size of chocolate pudding mix---to cover the oreos better.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Delicious! Delicious!!! My children enjoyed this cake very much after a long day out in the snow. I made the cake the night before. Frosting the cake got a little messy because I let the cool whip defrost too long. Other than that, this was a sinch. Cute & fun cake for the kids to make & decorate.
