What You Need

pkg. (12.6 oz.) JELL-O No Bake OREO Dessert

1/3

cup butter or margarine, melted

1-1/3

cups cold milk

Few

drops red food coloring

Few

drops yellow food coloring

Suggested decorations, such as candy corn and crushed OREO Cookies

Make It

PLACE Crust Mix and butter in medium bowl; stir with fork until crumbs are evenly moistened. Divide evenly among 12 paper-lined medium muffin cups; press firmly onto bottom of each cup to form crust.

POUR milk into deep narrow-bottomed bowl. Add Filling Mix. Beat with mixer on low speed 30 sec. Add food colorings; beat on high speed 3 min. or until light and fluffy and filling is evenly colored. (Do not under beat.)

RESERVE 1/2 cup Crushed Cookies. Add remaining crushed cookies to filling; stir gently until well blended. Spoon over crusts; sprinkle evenly with reserved cookies. Freeze 2 hours or until firm. Remove from freezer. Decorate as desired. Cover leftover desserts and store in freezer up to 2 weeks.

I made these on a saturday morning, and with 4 people in my family including me they were gone way before dinner time! I would have to say the filling part wasn't enough to make 12 full ones. I made 12 semi full ones. You could still see the cookie. Other then that, they were the most amazing thing I've ever tasted!!!!

This was a very good recipe. I was going to make it again but couldn't find the oreo mix at the store so I used the cheesecake kind and mixed it with crushed oreos, put it into the cupcake cups and sprinkled some more oreos on top. My family loved that rendition too!

Tasty and fun to make with my 3-year old. Did not turn out very orangy and hard to make holloween toppings not fall off. Good for following the recipe on the back of the box--but not very Holloweenish.
