Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this recipe! I love this recipe! the pie is light, not too filling, perfect for spring and summer, great for get-togethers! a couple of hints, though: people who have trouble with this recipe, dissolve jello in boiling water, add more ice than cool water in step two, and you will find that the jello mixture will set quicker and easier this way. Keep mixing until the mixture is smooth and liquidy. That helps too. The mixture can be poured and set in the pie crust, you dont have to spoon it in like the recipe says. This allows for a more uniform consistency. These tips will probably eliminate all problems. Also, for a more health-conscience version, try using cool whip lite, sugar free jello, and reduced fat crust.

This pie is wonderful, I've been making it for years -- when I first made it for my in-laws, they raved about it, and asked me to bring it with us EVERY time we visit, and especially for holidays and birthdays. I always use sugar free jello (Strawberry-Banana) and I always add tons of fresh fruit (bananas, green grapes, an apple, a peach, and strawberries). They wouldn't eat it any other way...We call it Partial Pie, because after adding all the fruit and whipping it up, it makes one and 1/2 pies.....everyone should know how to make it, it's quick easy and DELICIOUS!!! Yummy

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I made three pies for a women's luncheon and they were a hit! I made three pies for a women's luncheon and they were a hit! I did add a drop or two of food coloring to the orange and lemon pie fillings for a bit brighter color. I topped all the pies with extra Cool Whip then added my own garnish of mandarin oranges (orange pie), fresh lemon curls (lemon pie) and fresh lime slices (lime pie). The taste was light and refreshing and they are just the colors of Spring. Also, one was made with sugar-free Jello and Cool Whip Free and you couldn't tell the difference. A diet de-lite!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I guess this was just an individual incident, but I found that making this pie was very difficult. I guess this was just an individual incident, but I found that making this pie was very difficult. I thought it odd to use a WHISK when combining in the cool whip. When I tried this, the mixture separated and never really combined well and certainly didn't set up. It was too thin to even cut into, so we had to throw it out. I've never seen a recipe where you use a WHISK to blend in an ingredient like whipped cream, egg whites, etc. I think next time I'll use a spatula and FOLD the mixture instead.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My mom taught me how to make this years & years ago. My mom taught me how to make this years & years ago. It has become a holiday tradition. Everyone expects to have this pie @ Thanksgiving & Christmas. It is very versatile. You can use different flavors of jell-o, one of my favorites is lime. Also if you use a chocolate graham crust with cherry jell-o it tastes like a chocolate covered cherry. Sugar-free jell-o tends to set better than regular for whatever reason. It is a delicious and easy dessert one of my family's favorites!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Grandmother loves this pie. My Grandmother loves this pie. I make it with the fatfree coolwhip and sugar free jello for her. My daughter adores this and I make it for her birthday. A birthday pie. I make a homemade pie crust instead of the gram cracker. I also whip the jello mixture before I add the cool whip. It makes it extra light and airy. A great summer time pie that way. When you whip it. You will make 2 9" pies instead of one also.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I just love this recipe and so did my family. I just love this recipe and so did my family. I love Strawberries and this pie hit the spot. Adding the fresh Strawberries made it even better. I think I will try some peaches the next time. It's light and very refreshing. I made the pies for Easter and what didn't get ate after scuh a big dinner, several of my sisters wanted to know if they could take the left overs home. Thanks Kraft for another great recipe.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This is so easy and fast. This is so easy and fast. It may not be Haute Cusine, but people are always impressed. They think I made some kind of time consuming mousse. When I tell them what is in it, they are surprised. Also, I have dairy allergies, so it is really nice to have a creamy dessert that doesn't have any dairy products in it. (Just don't use Cool Whip Light, as that has milk in it. YUCK) Regular Cool Whip is perfect for this.
