Hello, I buy the granola cereal from publix. I then pour some into a paper towel and crush it into small pieces and add it to the fruit and yogurt mix for my son and I. I don't like the cottage cheese. Hope this helps :-)

I think this recipe would be better with yogurt. It's kind of an odd taste with the fruit being so sweet and the cottage cheese not. As for it bein high in carbs and sugar. Granola is a complex carb and the sugars that are in fruit are natural!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is so good, healthy and easy to make. This is so good, healthy and easy to make. It is best with fresh berries. I also like to use sunflower seeds instead of the granola. I do not understand the comment about this having to much sugar???? That makes no sense!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I agree, it is better with yogurt. I agree, it is better with yogurt. We also mix instant oatmeal (plain) in w/ the yogurt and berries. Let it sit for a minute or two for the oatmeal to absorb some of the liquid. Great hearty breakfast!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I am sure that this would be enough as a breakfast with Cal. I am sure that this would be enough as a breakfast with Cal. of 230 & Carbs. of 38 it does not leaave much to top off this meal. As a dibetic total carbs in the AM are 45 it does not leave much.
