This recipe was AWFUL!!! So bland and boring, bad taste and too rich. I felt so bad making this dish for my family, I apologized many times. I even added bacon to spruce it up, and it just made the BACON TASTE BAD!!! I didn't think it was possible, but yes, this recipe made BACON taste bad.
I made this recipe with the cottage cheese the first time and it came out gross (maybe it was me) then I decided I would try again with fat free cream cheese instead and added some seasonings and 2% colby cheddar mix and came out pretty good for lowfat mac n cheese.
Excellent taste and very easy to make.
