Need to know if 1/3 cup of cheese of combination of cheeses mentioned or 1/3 cup of each. Also, do I use entire green onion or just a part of it. Third, can the cakes be made in larger size for serving a main dinner course? <<< From Mary, Kraft Kitchens Expert ~ The cheese referred to in the recipe is a product which is a combination of all 3 cheeses. Trim 1 to 2 inches from then top of the green onions, then slice thinly. To make larger Crab Cakes, use 1/4 cup of the crab mixture for each crab cake. Bake an additonal 2 to 3 minutes of each side.>>>

I've been looking for a baked alternative to fried crab cakes that actually tastes good, and this is the best recipe that I've come across! These came out crispy on the outside and tender on the inside like fried crab cakes but without the greasiness - perfect texture! Instead of the cayenne pepper, I threw in some Old Bay, since I use that any time I make seafood, and the taste was amazing! These were so easy to make, too. The mixture holds together easily and they kept their shape during baking, too. My favorite crab cake recipe ever!

After the holidays I made a huge batch and cooked and froze them in plastic bags. I made one batch with triple pepper for those who like it spicy. Now anytime we want them, we just pop them in the microwave. They are so easy to make and taste absolutely wonderful. Even my 2 year old grandbaby loves them. Don't miss out - try them !!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Oh, my gosh! Oh, my gosh! I am making this recipe every WEEK. I live alone, and often make it just for me. I use imitation crab and let them chill for easier handling. I've fried them in olive oil and it works great. This week I'm going to dip them in Panko breadcrumbs before frying. Also I'm going to try Russian dressing instead of Ranch. I'll let you know how it works. Very versatile recipe. GREAT, GREAT, GREAT!

They were very good, I think they'ed be even better with the real crab meat. There is only two of use so I frozen the left overs and took them to a dinner party where I had to bring something to snack on before dinner. They went over great.

I do love the simplicity and taste of this site....but this crab cake receipe was, I m sorry to say, a flop! I followed the receipe....and the cakes were soggy and nfortunately this is an instance when the pcture looks better than the product.....perhaps using artificial crab meat may make a difference.

I've made these a few times now and although I know they can be better in a restaurant, this is the only recipe I've come across where they are easy to make and we all seem to agree that they are good. I also add Old Bay seasoning to the mix and I make mine larger so I will get 6 instead of 12.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from How Delicious! How Delicious! And so easy!! They took longer to cook than recipe says- my husband loved them! Baking them was easier than standing over the stove for so long pan frying them! Try them with a nice roumalade sauce!!! The ranch dressing was a nice touch of flavor--- definitely will make again
