Rated 4 out of 5 by from I have made this recipe on three seperate occations. I have made this recipe on three seperate occations. My guests could not get enough of them. I have varried the recipe by adding more bacon and using half regular cream chease and half onion/chive. Also I use a zip bag and pipe the filling on the rolls. I find this easier and quicker than trying to spread the cheese. Also they are best served hot.

I've been making these for years, and honestly didn't know the recipe was on this site. Everyone loves them when I make them and now they are expected at our Christmas snack day at work, and almost any other time I'm supposed to bring food. I make them with the Oscar Mayer Bacon Bits (in the pouch- salad dressing aisle) and they are great. I also use plain cream cheese and add my own chopped green onions-it's easier to control the onion flavor that way. They are VERY ADDICTIVE!

I made this for New Year's Eve, and I only had 1 can of crescents on hand, so naturally I had some filling left over. I placed it in a little dish for chip dipping and cracker topping and everyone enjoyed both very much! My oven tends to run hot for recipe temps, so I decreased the temperature 25 degrees and baked them about 7 minutes longer, watching them closely, until they were a nice golden brown color. This is so simple to make; I will surely make this again!

My husband went to the store to get the ingredients for this recipe and ended up getting biscuts not cresent rolls and regular cream cheese. So I used what he got. I cut the biscuts into quaters with a kitchen shears. Then put the cream cheese and bacon mixture in the middle of each piece and then sealed them up. They were excelent!! They went very fast and everyone loved them! You just need to make sure that there is enough filling in each one. YUMMY!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from In our little community store we did not have the chive cream cheese spread available. In our little community store we did not have the chive cream cheese spread available. I used the regular cream cheese but increased the strips of bacon to six. i served it early in the day at our office party before we headed out on our routes. everyone liked them warm and later ate them cold. what I enjoyed the most was the delicious aroma and also the size of the crescent rolls made them prettier in the basket when served. thanks,v1231

This recipe was a big hit the first time I made it, but it was kind of a hassle cutting, spreading, and rolling them up individually, so the next time I made them I divided each tube of cresents into two rectangles, spread 1/4 of the filling on each rectangle, folded each rectangle over so the two long sides overlapped, and cut each "log" into 4 squares. So much easier and everyone agreed how yummy they are!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Ok, so they aren't spectacular, but they're great for sports night! Ok, so they aren't spectacular, but they're great for sports night! They went quickly, and are filling. Who doesn't love any of the ingredients?! I'll definitely make them again for informal gatherings - they're quick, easy and tasty. One bit of advice - go easy on spreading the cream cheese on each crescent. A little goes a long way, and if not, you'll run out before you're done.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent! Excellent! I used pre-cooked bacon pieces and added salt, pepper and 1/4 tsp garlic powder. I would not put a "generous" teaspoon of mixture in each crescent, as I ran out of cream cheese mixture and felt like some of the crescents were a little over-filled. There wasn't any spillage, however. Everyone said they were awesome and asked for the recipe.
